<line>How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I hand you over, O Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender. I will not execute my burning anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim; for I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come in wrath. </line>

        <type>text</type>
        <basename>element4.html</basename>
        <line> 19 You know my reproach, </line>
<line> and my shame and my dishonor; </line>
<line> my foes are all known to you. </line>
<line> 20       Reproaches have broken my heart, </line>
<line> so that I am in despair. </line>
<line> I looked for pity, but there was none, </line>
<line> and for comforters, but I found none. </line>
<line> 21       They gave me poison for food, </line>
<line> and for my thirst they gave me sour wine to drink. </line>
        <line></line>
<line> 22       Let their own table before them become a snare; </line>
<line> and when they are at peace, let it become a trap. </line>
<line> 23       Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see, </line>
<line> and make their loins tremble continually. </line>
<line> 24       Pour out your indignation upon them, </line>
<line> and let your burning anger overtake them. </line>
        <line> 25       May their camp be a desolation; </line>
<line> let no one dwell in their tents. </line>
<line> 26       For they persecute him whom you have struck down, </line>
<line> and they recount the pain of those you have wounded. </line>
<line> 27       Add to them punishment upon punishment; </line>
<line> may they have no acquittal from you. </line>
<line> 28       Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; </line>
<line> let them not be enrolled among the righteous. </line>
        <line></line>
<line> 29       But I am afflicted and in pain; </line>
<line> let your salvation, O God, set me on high! </line>
        <line></line>
<line> 30       I will praise the name of God with a song; </line>
<line> I will magnify him with thanksgiving. </line>
<line> 31       This will please the LORD more than an ox </line>
<line> or a bull with horns and hoofs. </line>
<line> 32       When the humble see it they will be glad; </line>
<line> you who seek God, let your hearts revive. </line>
<line> 33       For the LORD hears the needy </line>
<line> and does not despise his own people who are prisoners. </line>
        <line></line>
<line> 34       Let heaven and earth praise him, </line>
<line> the seas and everything that moves in them. </line>
<line> 35       For God will save Zion </line>
<line> and build up the cities of Judah, </line>
<line> and people shall dwell there and possess it; </line>
<line> 36       the offspring of his servants shall inherit it, </line>
<line> and those who love his name shall dwell in it. </line>

        <name>Sermon Scripture: Ephesians 5:1-21</name>
        <type>text</type>
        <basename>element6.html</basename>
<line>1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. </line>
        <line></line>
<line>3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not become partners with them; 8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, </line>
        <line></line>
        <line> “Awake, O sleeper, </line>
<line> and arise from the dead, </line>
<line> and Christ will shine on you.” </line>
        <line></line>
<line>15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, 20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. </line>
